General
Who is Lineati Consultancy for?
Lineati Consultancy is designed for SMEs, family businesses, and new investors operating in Qatar. We support owners and CEOs who need professional HR, finance, PRO, and operations support but do not want to build a large internal back-office team.
How do you usually work with clients – retainer or project-based?
We work in both ways. Some clients prefer a monthly retainer where we handle ongoing HR, payroll, and PRO matters. Others hire us for a specific project, such as setting up HR policies, designing salary structures, or handling a company setup. We propose the model after understanding your needs.
Do you work only in Qatar or across the region?
Our primary focus is Qatar, but we also advise clients with regional operations across the GCC, Levant, and North Africa, especially on HR structures and policies that need to work across multiple countries.
How do you maintain confidentiality?
We regularly handle sensitive HR, financial, and legal information. All client data and discussions are treated as strictly confidential. We can sign NDAs and include confidentiality clauses in our service agreements.
HR & Labour Law
Can you help us comply with Qatar Labour Law?
Yes. We review your existing contracts, policies, and HR practices and align them with Qatar Labour Law. We also prepare the required documentation, such as employment contracts, warning letters, and termination procedures, to reduce the risk of disputes or penalties.
We don't have an HR department. Can you set it up from scratch?
Yes. We can design and implement your HR structure, including policies and procedures, job descriptions, grading and salary structure, performance appraisal system, and basic HR forms and templates.
Do you handle employee investigations and disciplinary cases?
Yes. We can support you in conducting investigations, documenting findings, and recommending disciplinary action in line with your internal policies and Qatar Labour Law.
Can you support recruitment as well?
We do not act as a recruitment agency, but we can help you define roles, prepare job descriptions, screen CVs, and set up an interview and selection process that fits your business.
Payroll & Finance
Can you manage our monthly payroll?
Yes. We can handle end-to-end payroll, including salary calculation, overtime, allowances, deductions, end-of-service, and WPS files in line with Qatar requirements.
Do you set up salary structures and grading systems?
Yes. We design simple, clear salary structures and grading systems suitable for SMEs so that salaries, allowances, and promotions are consistent and fair.
Can you help us with budgeting and financial reporting?
We can help you prepare budgets, cashflow forecasts, and regular management reports so you have a clear view of your financial performance and can make informed decisions.
PRO & Government Relations
What PRO services do you provide?
We support with company setup, Commercial Registration (CR), Establishment Card, labour approvals, visas, ID renewals, and coordination with key government portals and ministries.
Can you help with company setup for foreign investors?
Yes. We guide you through the process for 100% foreign ownership where applicable, required documentation, approvals, and practical steps until the company is ready to operate.
Do you handle visa processing for employees and dependents?
We assist employers with the full visa cycle for employees and can guide on dependent/family visa processes so you can provide accurate information to your staff.
Training & Development
What types of training do you offer?
We offer corporate training for SMEs, including Lean Six Sigma, PMP preparation, and practical workshops on HR for non-HR managers, performance management, leadership, and other business skills.
Are the trainings customised to our company?
Yes. We tailor the content, case studies, and exercises to your industry, size, and internal processes so that the training is directly relevant to your daily operations.
Do you offer in-house and online training?
We can deliver training in-house at your office, in an external venue, or online, depending on your preference and the size of the group.
Do participants receive certificates?
Yes. Participants receive a certificate of completion from Lineati Consultancy. For certifications like PMP or Lean Six Sigma, we prepare participants for the official exams and can guide them through the application process.
Engagement & Pricing
How do you charge for your services?
For ongoing support (HR, payroll, PRO), we usually work on a monthly retainer. For specific projects (policies, salary structure, HR setup, training), we work on a fixed project fee. After an initial consultation, we provide a clear proposal with scope, timeline, and fees.
Is the first consultation free?
We normally offer a short initial consultation to understand your needs and confirm if we are the right partner. After that, we share a proposal outlining the scope and cost.
How quickly can you start?
It depends on the service required. For advisory and documentation work, we can usually start within a few days after agreement. For training, we coordinate on dates, materials, and participants in advance.
